Centre for Processed Foods - is also known as "CPF" evolved as a regional developmental organization with a mission statement "To Promote the Growth of Indian Agro & Food Processing Industries in Healthy & Modern Lines".

While keeping its objectives in mind CPF undertook various kinds of useful promotional activities for the benefit of aspiring entrepreneurs, agro-food processing & related industries, So it started offering motivational cum empowering services & emerged as one of the first & most appropriate techno-commercial services providing organisation in India.

Three decades back being emerged as an unique organisation, evolved first of its kind concept namely "Incubator" concept for entrepreneurship cum industrial development, designed, inducted & operationalized in the year 1992-93 for food sector namely "Food Business Incubator" - comprising of pilot scale operating processing & packaging machines, also they called it as "Common Service Facility" in the country. Later same concept was adopted by many different kinds of industry sectors in India and also in few many countries.

Apart from Food Business incubator more fine tuned service facilities to food industries namely "Product Development Facility - PDL" in Indian Institute of Horticultural Research - IIHR Bangalore, "Fruit & Vegetable Washing cum Grading Facility" in Horticulture Produce Growers Co-Operative Marketing & Processing Society Ltd - HOPCOMS, "Analytical & Quality Control Testing Facility (AQCL)" in University of Agricultural Science - UAS Bangalore all called designed as "Common Service Facilities" to promote the adoption of food science & technology based processing systems & industries. It also helped many entrepreneurs to look at it to fructify their ideas getting into this field.

We also keep the credit of getting Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point - HACCP into our country's food industry during 1997-98 and offered first time ever awareness, trainers training, percolation of its objectives, adoption & implementation for Indian food industry & related professionals from all the sub-domains of the sector while following the guidelines as per the Codex Alimentarius Standards & Guidelines as agreed to WTO countries.

The culture of organizing first ever highly interactive events interactive meetings, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, symposiums etc in the like comprising of industries, research/academia institutions, Govt,/trade/chamber  bodies, NGOs, Universities  to offer awareness and to draw out a right road map for the development of agro-food processing industries.

Today it has in-house technical team of three technical staff with food science/technology & one experienced administration-accounts assistant, all delivering the tasks under the guidance of Mr. Chetan L. Hanchate who directs & monitors the activities of the organisation.

Apart from the above team, CPF also networks very closely with many other leading agencies, institutions,  professional & scientific experts from industry, academia, research, trade bodies, Govt, NGOs, foreign agencies, etc., to deliver all the assignments they undertake.

Inhouse experts have good knowledge base about diversified Indian Foods which offers intense strength to the organisation which is different to all other service providers. This strength have progressed us to offer services to many other countries also which is making additional strengths in its operations.

With these activities CPF became very popular organisation among all the areas of food processing business both domestically and internationally so all started approaching for various kinds of techno commercial cum regulatory guidance's so it got transformed itself as service provider organisation & emerged as expert in all scales of operations & domains of foods namely traditional, continental & fusion foods also

Today Centre for Processed Foods (CPF) is a highly networked, well established professional consulting cum service oriented organisation in Indian & international agro-food processing & related areas. Recently it has extended its professional services to all scales of hospitality industries also.

As of today CPF fructify many new aspiring entrepreneurs into their sector while set up many different scale industries and upgrading existing industries.
